What messages are for
OpenHaul text messages are operational messages about freight we are handling or preparing to handle.
Messages may include load tracking links, dispatch support, appointment or load coordination, and responses to driver or carrier replies.

Load tracking links
For some third-party carrier loads, OpenHaul may send a driver a one-load tracking link.
The driver opens the link and chooses whether to allow browser location. Location tracking starts only after the driver allows location sharing on that device.
Tracking is tied to that assigned load. It is not a driver account, mobile app, carrier portal, or marketing list.

How consent works
A driver phone number may be provided by the carrier, dispatcher, or driver for a booked load.
Receiving a text does not start location tracking. The driver must tap the link and allow browser location sharing before location data is sent to OpenHaul.
The driver can deny browser location permission or contact dispatch for manual check calls instead.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies by load, carrier, and driver response.
You may receive an initial tracking invite, resend, help response, opt-out confirmation, or other operational load message.

Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you according to your plan.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop texts
Reply STOP to opt out of texts from the OpenHaul tracking number.
After STOP, OpenHaul will send an opt-out confirmation and block future tracking texts from that number unless policy and carrier rules allow a later opt-in.

Reply HELP for help.
You can also call dispatch or email hello@openhaul.com. If the tracking link does not work, contact dispatch for a manual check call.

OpenHaul does not sell mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, or SMS opt-in data.
OpenHaul does not share mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
